assignment Admirals Ride TP's Arm and Big 6th Inning in Comeback Win

With last week's double header being rained out, the Admirals took the field for the first time in 2018 on this Tuesday evening game versus a 3-0 Dead Last squad on the North West baseball diamond of Clarington Fields. A game that saw Alberto "The Cuban Sensation" Lopez, Morgan "Sugar Touché" Bentham, Mitch "Can I Borrow a T-Shirt" Dunn and Joe "Nickname TBD" Kennedy make their rookie Admirals debuts.

Highlighted by a balarina'esque catch in right field by rookie Joe "Nickname TBD" Kennedy, the team looked like a well oiled machine (pictured on right) which saw them staring at a 7-0 deficit going into the bottom of the third inning.

Finally able to string some hits together, the team managed to plate 4 runs over their next 2 at-bats, while keeping Dead Last off the scoreboard to make the score 7-4 going into the 5th inning.

An Admirals pitching change ensued that saw self-proclaimed "stud closer" Terminator Pouenke take the mound.

To everyone's surprise, Terminator Pouenke started off admirably, sitting the first 3 batters he faced in order.

Likely in shock from the 3-up-3-down performance they just witnessed, the team's sticks were also quietly sat down in the bottom half of the 5th.

In the 6th, it was more of the same from Terminator Pouenke, notching 3 quick outs over 4 batters.

In the home half, the Admirals bats finally broke out batting through the order and posting a snowman to take a 12-7 lead going into the last inning.

Putting up or shutting up (if that's even possible for Mike), Terminator Pouenke delivered again in the 7th, sitting down the Dead Last batters 1-2-3 to close out the game.

Seeing Terminator Pouenke is proving to be quite the mouthful, the team has officially announced they'll just go with the initials for short:
