The Admirals faced NSP league president's team Git R Dun on this wet Wednesday 9PM game.True to their name, the president's team Got R Dun in the first inning, jumping out to a quick 5-1 lead.
But in the 2nd, the Admirals responded admirably, putting up the 10-run-max-per-inning, 8 of which coming with 2 outs, to take the lead...a lead they would not relinquish.
After holding their opponent to a tasty donut in the bottom half of the 2nd, the Admirals plated 5 more, and the rout was on.
Git R Dun managed to plate 5 more runs over the next 3 innings but the Admirals countered with 9 of their own to make the final 25-10.
With Poutine MIA for this game, rumours were swirling during post-game bevies around the slo-pitch pitching phenom allegedly wanting to retire from the Admirals to play exclusively for the WMSPL Falcons. Speculation is that Mike doesn't like being 2nd best (pitcher) to his big bro.
The Admirals get back at it again Thursday night when they take on the Village Inn.
