assignment Tim is Found and Admirals Roll to 3-0
Tuesday 7:45PM May 16th, 2017In game one of another Tuesday night double header, the Admirals took on the Tyrone Tailgaters who were playing game two of their own double header.
Before taking the field, the team was happy to see their milk carton ad proved to be effective, as Tim showed up with his skates on ready to run, um, I mean play. Special thanks to the anonymous person who returned him safely to the team.
After taking the field, the Tailgaters jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, but thanks to some patient optics at the plate, some defensive "help" from the Tyrone squad and some clutch hitting, the Admirals responded admirably plating the NSP mandated-max-10-runs-per-inning.
The young Tyrone squad proved to be full of vim and vigor as they showed they wouldn't go down easy plating 5 runs in the top of the 2nd to trim their deficit to 3.
But it was more of the same for the Admirals in their bottom half of the inning as they plated another 8 runs to put this one on cruise control.
Make the final 25-11.
